In view of its longstanding and unwavering commitment towards ensuring the overall wellbeing of the learners and its industrious personnel, the school follows various functional procedures that invariably maintain and guarantee the safety of its members in the school premises.
Suitably, all staff members of the school stand fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), while practices such as daily sanitization, deep cleaning, mosquito fogging, and spraying of disinfectants are being rigorously undertaken by the school’s facility department. Additionally, the temperature of each student, staff member, and visitor is unfailingly checked by the school’s security team at the school gate, while the daily visitors’ footfall is managed and regulated through various actions including the checking of the Aarogya Setu App, confirmation of visitor’s appointment, checking of visitor’s vaccination certificate, etc.
For the regular and unrestricted observance of Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviours, the school conscientiously ensures round the clock availability of the necessary safety equipment including hand sanitiser dispensers, foot-operated taps and a fully-equipped isolation room.

- Daily Sanitisation– The diligent facility department of the school carries out daily sanitisation processes, which include exhaustive spraying of disinfectants across the school, methodical cleaning of the entire premises and deep cleaning of the premises and high-touch areas.
- Social Distancing – Social Distancing is scrupulously ensured by means of Social Distancing Floor Marking (in areas that witness heavy influx of people), strategic tap spacing (in washrooms) and direct physical supervision.
- Temperature Checking – The temperature of each student, staff member and visitor of the school is unfailingly checked by the school’s security team at the school gate. The visitors’ entry is accordingly permitted (or postponed) by the security team members.
- Visitor Management – The daily visitors’ footfall is managed and further regulated by the school’s diligent security team. The various actions undertaken by the team members include checking of the Aarogya Setu App, confirmation of visitor’s appointment, checking of visitor’s vaccination certificate, etc.
- Mosquito Fogging – Mosquito-control is ensured at the school through regular mosquito-fogging, with target areas being fogged twice a week during active mosquito season.
- Hand-Sanitiser Dispensers, Foot-Operated Taps in Washrooms & Fully-Equipped Isolation Room – he regular and unrestricted observance of Covid-19 Appropriate Behaviours is ensured at CIS through the provision of necessary safety equipment including hand sanitiser dispensers, foot-operated taps and fully-equipped isolation room.
