Clay Modeling Workshop – Claying Thoughts

Clay craft is a wonderful medium to let the child express and communicate his/her vision. Besides being fun, working with clay also contributes to child’s development. Developing motor skills, problem solving, therapeutic, improving self-esteem and accomplishment are some of the benefits that come along with it. With this belief, Chitkara International School flagged off the 3 days long claying workshop for its students. Ms. Pooja Verma (founder, Claying Thoughts) who was the curator of the workshop interacted with Grade 5 students. The students were introduced to the art/technique of coiling and they created beautiful penholders, vases etc. It was sheer pleasure to see sense of accomplishment and happiness in every student’s face post they finished their projects.
