ART ATTACK

Chitkara International School (CIS) brought the magic of Disney Channel’s Art Attack- kids favorite on-air art and craft show live for their students. The two days unique and colorful workshop was specially designed for the junior students where they made beautiful art pieces using recycled material.
The “M-Philosophy” is Chitkara International School’s own technique which helps the student to know the importance of 5 M’s around them i.e men, material, machine, mystery and magic. This workshop was intended to club art with one of its “M” i.e. material to create some unusual art pieces.
Mr.Gaurav Juyal, an extremely creative host of the TV series called Art Attack, conducted the workshop. Kids along with there mothers were called upon the stage and asked to draw something creative with their own imagination. During another activity mothers were called on stage and asked to create something innovative out of the waste material provided to them.
On being asking that how he landed up hosting the famous Art Attack show, Mr. Gaurav recalled it to be coincidence when he went for the audition with his friend and got selected.
Commenting on the initiative, Ms. Niyati Chitkara, Principal, Chitkara International School said, “Art is fun! It is a great way for kids to express themselves. I am thrilled to see the response and excitement of our students. Indeed, the art work created by them is worth applause”.
