Chitkara International School signs MoU with Climate Project Foundation

The sustainable use of resources is the need of the hour and reaching climate targets will depend on a number of different approaches and solutions with everyone working together. In light of the aforementioned and to contribute towards sustainability, Chitkara International Schools signed the MoU with the Climate Project Foundation based in New Delhi. Environmental sustainability is the prudent use of the environmental resources to satisfy current human needs while preserving it for future generations. Achieving it entails lowering inequities, enhancing inventions and creativity, ensuring that all humans have access to dependable, controllable energy, managing water properly and making it accessible to all, and raising standards of life for everyone.

About the MoU Signing Event held at Chitkara International School
The United Nations defined sustainable development in the Brundtland Report as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Hence, the sustainable use of resources is the need of the hour and reaching climate targets will depend on a number of different approaches and solutions with everyone working together. In light of aforementioned, Chitkara International Schools, Chandigarh and Panchkula signed the MoU with the Climate Project Foundation based in New Delhi. The aforementioned signing was executed in the Chandigarh school campus in the presence of Dr Niyati Chitkara, Director, Chitkara International Schools, Dr Honey Chitkara, Principal & Assistant Director, Chitkara International Schools, Mr Aditya Pundir, Director, The Climate Reality Project India and Ms Rekha Lalla, Green School Programme Manager, The Climate Reality Project India.
